This still Vouvray is made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes. The fruit comes from 30–40-year-old vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils over limestone bedrock (tuffeau), formed approximately 90 million years ago. The wine displays a pale yellow color and a highly expressive nose, fresh and fruit-driven. On the palate, it stands out for its balance, with notes of fresh fruit and citrus complemented by a pleasant mineral finish.
“Tuffo” pairs beautifully with shellfish, seafood, grilled or baked fish, and flavorful goat cheeses.
