Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, Magma Pouilly-Fumé is a true expression of the diverse soils of the estate located in the Loire Valley.
The vineyards, averaging 30–40 years of age, enjoy a south-west exposure and are farmed with great respect for the environment and the local terroir. Vinification is entirely natural: fermentation is initiated by indigenous yeasts naturally present in the grape must.
Rich and generous, this wine displays an intense straw-yellow color with silver highlights. The nose is fresh and focused on ripe white-fleshed fruit, while on the palate, ripe mango and pineapple fruit work in harmony with the wine’s distinctive minerality.
It pairs perfectly with seafood, including oysters and truffles, as well as amberjack, sea bass, and cod. It is also excellent with white meats such as rabbit—particularly Ligurian-style rabbit—and vegetarian dishes such as quiche Lorraine, creamy risottos, and characterful cheeses.
