Produced by Château Puybarbe in the Côtes de Bourg appellation of Bordeaux, this elegant rosé is made from a blend of Merlot (87%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), and Malbec (3%).
A wine of great refinement and elegance, this rosé comes from vineyards planted on a south-facing plateau at the highest point of the appellation, where clay-limestone soils provide ideal growing conditions.
The grapes are meticulously selected before undergoing gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at 14°C in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit and its freshness. The fermentation period lasts four weeks, after which the wine is filtered and aged in bottle for two months.
Displaying intense aromas of rose petals, fresh red berries, and wild strawberries, it is elegant and alluring on the palate, with vibrant acidity and impressive fullness.
A delightful match for shellfish, seafood, tomato-based fish soups, salmon, or grilled fish served with potatoes.
